Providing the finest high fidelity sound when mastering an 80-minute stereo CD, can require 6 to 8 hours. It can take longer for a 5.1-surround on DVD or restoration project. Each nuance of every sound must be listened to and analyzed critically. This allows us to make the fine adjustments necessary to create superior, overall sound excellence. To achieve the best transfer of your music to a master CD or DVD, we record the master in real time (1X speed). Unlike other mastering facilities, we don’t employ a speed-up process to shorten the time it takes to master. This would result in an inferior product.
